This layout is of my son Rick when he was 17,after a day bird hunting with his friend and both of them were lucky enough to each get a goose .He was so proud.Surprisingly...I did not struggle too much with this boy layout and it didn't take the usual 6 hours...only took about 4!The first thing I did was use my hole punch around the page.I used the punch upside down and just put the paper halfway through.I then weaved some burlap with some green patterned paper from K and Company and sewed around the edges. The brown paper is from Kand Company Wild saffron line.I picked the dried grass on my way home from the beach and the branches and leaves are from the dollar store.I also twirled some wire around a paint brush to add to the grasss arrangement.
The bird and butterfly are also from K and Company.I applied a some brown chaulk around the seams and the letters to give them a more muted look.
Just added a few buttons and Postage stamps. Thanks for looking and have a great week!!!
