Merry Christmas!!

Hi everyone...hope you are already for Christmas because it's only two more sleeps!Just wanted to share a couple of little projects I have been working on.The first are some teachers gifts that Claudine and myself worked on.You can find the tutorial for this cute little gift here.

And this is what's inside.

I also made these bulbs with our names on them using Alphabet stickers, stickles and some glittery swirls from My Minds Eye.

And finally, I wanted to show you the beautiful prize that Scrapstreet Magazine sent me. How sweet is that,... not only do they put my layout on the cover but they sent me the beautiful Noel line from Teresa Collins. Thank you Scrapstreet!

I just wanted to wish all the new scrappy friends that I have made this past year a Wonderful Christmas and a Happy New year!! I hope you get lots of scrapping goodies and take lots of photos. Relax and Enjoy!

Creative Scrappers Sketch 135

Hi there fellow bloggers! Bet everyone is  busy with the hustle and bustle of Christmas...only 6 more days!!!I am finally finished school for the semester and I will not open the books again until January 10th...YIPPEEE!!! During my break, I have set a goal to scrap 6 pages and to start a quilt.
Here's this weeks gorgeous sketch from Creative Scrappers:

Here is my take:

This is my husband when he was a little boy...what a cutie! For this layout I used the beautiful December Scrap That! Kit which used the gorgeous IOD Night Divine papers. I cut out the center of the paper and pop dotted it against the cardstock that I stamped with my script stamp with gold ink.

 I did some handstitching around the circle and added cheesecloth to the corners.

The Gold Poinsetta and branch are both from Prima and came with the kit.

Creative Scrappers Sketch 133

Here I am 2 weeks later with another gorgeous sketch from Creative Scrappers...I am such a terrible blogger but I do love to read the blogs of others. I am in the midst of studying for finals and Christmas is just around the corner and I am SO not ready!

This is what I came up with and boy did I struggle. I completed it, didn't like it and went back to work at it again. I am still not lovin it but that's ok!

This is my sweet girl and her dad! I used the gorgeous November Kit from Scrap That!. It was filled with the beautiful Pink Paislee Parisian Anthology papers and  My Mind’s Eye Lost and Found Portobello Road. I did lots of misting,inking, stamping and painting on this one.The handstiching was done following a tutorial on Irene Tan's amazing blog.

 I bought the pretty chipboard at Kays Kreative Korner, a beautiful etsy shop that is definitely worth checking out! I made the butterfly from some flower packaging and added a few pearls to the body.
