I Believe in You.......TCR 62

Hi everyone.....can't believe I am back with another post already but I just couldn't pass up this weeks color room palette. This is my second attempt...the first try went to the scrap folder.UPDATE: I definitely have issues with negative space and add to go and add the large orange butterfly to make the layout "feel" right Here is what I created:
 
I know....I know....serious issues!

This is my best attempt yet at negative space...I have issues! I stamped the butterflies in the corners using two shades of orange acrylic paint and when then stamped with black Staz on when dry. I stamped the title and used a Tim Holtz mask for the misting . Here are a few closeups


Hope that I can participate more now at TCR now that school will out for me in just 3 more days!!!! I have 2 finals this week and I will have my first year completed......can't wait.

  2. Sandi I love this!! I am also scared of negative space!! I feel like I MUST plop a flower or flourish there!!! But your turned out wonderful! Also wonderful work with the color! Fantastic! tfs:)

  3. Wow, Sandi, you have completely transformed this blank white background paper into a beautiful patternred paper! The butterflies stamping is LOVELY! Gorgeous effect with the misting too! I'm so impressed with the orange palette....not my fave colour and I have trouble using it much in my designs. Well done!
