I made this layout of my sweet girl using the ScrapThat! August Main Kit, Flower Add-on and the Embellishment Add-on. The gesso and Mist were from my stash.

On to my second layout that is also of my daughter...no masculine layouts this month!!

This Layout uses the ScrapThat! August Main Kit, Flower Add-on and the Embellishment Add-on. The gesso, FWAB Pearl Flourish and Mist were from my stash. I punched the green leaves from the cardstock included in the kit and made some roses from the coordinating papers. You can find the tutorial here.

My last layout I REALLY struggled with!! Had it done and then tore it all apart and even used a different picture.

This layout uses the Scrapthat! August Main Kit, EAO, FAO and a few things from my personal stash

Here is a close up of the chipboard frame. I will be sharing how I did this a little later!!

Hi everyone...just a quick post to share with you the gorgeous sneaks of the August ScrapThat! Kit! This kit is sooooo beautiful! Sorry I can't share more details so I guess you will have to join us on Friday, July 27th for the reveal and Blog hop. Hope to see ya there!!

July 20th SOUS Sketch and FWAB

Happy Friday everyone and I'm here to share a layout inspired by the gorgeous Stuck on U Sketches by the lovely Nanne and to share some more yummy goodies from FWAB.

And here is the lovely sketch:

 

I know I once again drifted away from the sketch but if look really closely you will see a FEW similarities!I took this sweet photo of my girl last week at the beach and I love it although her patience was wearing thin with me constantly snapping her pic. I used a combination of MME papers and the very beautiful IOD  Beach Cottage collection...love those papers. I did lots of misting with Glimmermist(Riptide, Patina, Trunk Bay and Sand) and added some texture with Gesso and Martha Stewart Texture paste. Here are a few closeups:

 

 

I used the FWAB Jasmine Puffy Flourish in Pearl to create the look of a wave and added lots of texture paste.

 

I also used FWAB Trent's Fence and FWAB Nicky's Beach Huts. I just added a bit of gesso to tone down the color and give the embellies a whitewashed look.

 And lastly I added some FWAB 100 Pk Pearls in Teal to the flower centers.

Hi everyone and Happy Friday and Friday means another beautiful sketch from Stuck On You Sketches. Here is what I made based on this lovely sketch!

 

This is a picture of my niece and nephew taken at my Mom's Birthday in April and I plan on giving it to my Sister in law. I used different collections from My Minds Eys and alot of paint and Gesso. Here are a few close ups:

I once again used some beautiful pearls from Flourish With a Bling. These are the lovely products I used

FWAB Color Challenge

Hi everyone...sharing today a layout I created for Kate McCulloch's color challenge over at Flourish With a Bling. Be sure to join in because some awesome FWAB goodies are up for grabs! Here is what I created and the gorgeous palette that inspired me.

 

 This is my daughter and her friends fishing from the wharf on Victoria Day weekend.I used a mix of collections from Prima and Glitz and the cute little wooden frame I purchased at Michaels. I did some distressing and made the background texture by masking with gesso and molding paste and a little Glimmer Mist in Deep Plum. Here are a few closeups:

ScrapThat! Summer Garden Party July 6th-8th
