Here is my take on Amy's beautiful Sketch...this is my inlaws on their wedding day.
Layout made from Main Kit only

Recently my aunt gave me a bunch of pictures of me when I was little. The baby in the picture is my first cousin who died at the age of 14 of cancer. We spent so much time together when we were small and I have called my daughter after her...Claudine. I just love this picture of us!
Made with Main Kit, Flower add-on and Embellie add-on

And here is another of me when I was a wee girl sitting on the fence in my grandmothers garden.

Remembering Yesterday...SOUS and FWAB

I can't believe that it's Friday again...the weeks fly by so fast! But Friday means another sketch from Stuck on U Sketches...here it is:
However for my layout I flipped the sketch upside down! I hope you can see a little resemblance. Awhile back,My Aunt gave me a bunch of pictures of me when I was a little girl and I have been scrapping them like crazy! I used papers from MME and I did some fussy cutting from some Websters papers. I got messy with gesso and inks and also did a little stamping and embossing. Here are a few closeups:

I got the little wooden fence from Michaels and painted it white and added a little crackle paint for texture
And have a look at the gorgeous Jack Vine in Olice Green from FWAB. I cut it in pieces and tucked it in around the flower clusters...such a pretty effect!

You can also see a pretty Elise flower in the top cluster. Here are the Gorgeous FWAB products I used:

FWAB Elise Flourish Silver - Dusky Pink & Rose Pink flowers - Click Image to Close

Altered Chipboard Frame Tutorial

Just wanted to share a little tutorial I just posted on the ScrapThat! Blog on how I altered the Petaloo chipboard frame that was included in the ScrapThat! August Kit. I am sorry there will be no photos...just a close up of the finished product because the whole process happened by accident but it is quite easy.

You will need the following supplies :
  1. Frame(Chipboard or wooden)
  2. Patterned paper
  3. Glossy accents or any dimensional glue
  4. Glimmer Mist
  5. Needle or Toothpick
  • I first altered the frame with Gesso and Glimmer Glaze.
  • I then cut a piece of patterned paper from the Charlotte's dream collection that would fit behind the frame and glued.
  • You then fill in the entire frame with the dimensional glue.
  • I then removed the spray nozzle from the Glimmer Mist bottle and placed drops of mist in the corners of the frame.
  • Using the toothpick,I dragged the mist through the glue towards the center.
  • Let dry. This may take awhile as the glue is quite thick.
Here is my frame on a layout made with the August Kit.

Thanks for dropping by and I hope you have a wonderful week!

You are my Sunshine...SOUS and a new release fromFWAB

Hi everyone and it is Friday once again...the weeks pass so fast! Its reveal day at Stuck on U sketches so that means a new sketch to inspire you. Here is what I created inspired by Leah's sketch:
I know....I drifted once again but I find multi pics so hard to do!!I did lots of misting, painting, doodling...you name it...I think I tried it on this layout. I also have a new addiction...washi tape. This has been around for awhile now but I am always so late to jump on the bandwagon with new products. Here are a few closeups:
I made the clouds with Martha Stewart Texture Paste...love this stuff.

Look closely...see the pretty yellow flower in the center, the beige colored flower in the picture above and the gorgeous bling....It is the brand new Elise Flourish and Flower set.Available in silver, black and the NEW antique brown, the Elise flourish and flower set is sure to add that special something to your scrapbooking page, card or OTP project.Check them out here.
FWAB Elise Flourish Antique Brown - Mustard & Brown flowers
There are some more lovelies from FWAB on this layout...I used Nicky's beach Huts in yellow and the Sun from the FWAB Up in the Sky.

Be sure to get your LSS to carry these gorgeous FWAB products and check out the FWAB Blog. There is always a monthly challenge where you can win some of those goodies.
Head over to the SOUS blog and get inspired!
Wishing you a wonderful weekend!
